I am an old Net dino from when the Net was flat. I am a Mama. I often drown in everyday things when things get rough, the minute details of the simplest of living simply because it's better for me to concentrate on those than be hopelessly depressed. I worked through the progression from reality (full-custom silicon) to fantasy (technical marketing) with intermediate steps on gate arrays, FPGAs, embedded systems, microcode, machine language, assembly language, C, C++, Perl, specifications, and architectural plans.

In 2007 I decided that enough was enough, and I'm now pursuing more amusing fiction full time.
