I was also brave and talked with my manager about taking July off. I've now got ten years seniority at the company and, therefore, get four weeks of vacation a year, and we were planning on blowing it all in one mad, summer road trip in the Eurovan with a two-year-old who won't remember any of it anyway. *giggles*

She was fine with it as it's basically between releases, and we'll be done with one and getting onto the other and it's an okay place to be. Yay!

It was kind of prompted by Joan being gone for all of July and not having Jet-sitting services for the month, but it may be a cool adventure in and of itself.
