Work is Good
We've delayed on moving back to the northwest again, until, maybe, next year, mostly because my work has been going really well. I think I've been doing more and feeling better about it in the last couple of years than I have for most of my life. It's been challanging, interesting, and I think I've been doing it for all the right reasons, so I'm pretty happy with my work and John's noticed to the point that he's willing to delay our move and doesn't see a huge financial impact.
There are times when I'm really tired, though, and part of me really wants to just go back to the rain and hide in technical writing assignments and let someone else do all the management aspects. But I guess there's the old adage of getting plenty of rest after you're dead; but, in my case, getting plenty of rest after I've finally stepped back, or something...
... and in the meantime just concentrate on having fun and doing a great job.
