People do stop, now, and share the good things more often. Often with the phrase, well with things as they are now, we should enjoy this. People, all during our mountain trip, would stop and grin at Jet, who would give them his big grin back, and we'd talk for a while. Folks willing to stop and talk with us about the joys of parenthood, and congratulating Isabel and George on their handsome grandson. In the grocery store, plenty of complete strangers taking the time to talk with us and enjoy the glow of a kid with no idea what else is in the world from Jet.
It's interesting to see the everyday changes in how people are interacting. Maybe with reality being a scarier place, more people find comfort in being friendly. That's not a bad thing.
