This morning, at 5 am, Jet came into our room, demanding that I go with him. I refused as I'd been up with him earlier in the night. John took his turn and Jet says, "NOoooooooo.... Daddy is for morning! Mom is for going back to sleep..."

Later, John told me that Jet had told him that he was boring. Hee. But Jet fell asleep pretty soon after that, so maybe boring was good for going to sleep.

I think Jet *just* woke up. He's been as tired as John and I. He's the one that was sick and has been waking up in the middle of the night coughing or generally unhappy. Poor guy. But it was hard to do my big deliverable AND my class with Jet up three to five times a night, sometimes for a few hours.

There are moments when I'm glad of my old Con experience, managing sleep deprivation with practice is a lot easier than if I had to do this new.
